UKWW Weekly Forecast

Post by KTtom » Sun Mar 02, 2014 8:39 am

Issued Sun 02nd March

Spring has sprung and an overdue pattern change is finally on its way.

Further rain in the forecast this week but the major change will be from next weekend as southerly winds bring increasingly warmer temperatures from the south.

The first half of the week will be dominated by sunshine mixed with showers. The winds will be light and the showers slow moving and heavy, wintry once again over northern areas.

More persistent rain will move west to east over northern areas on Thursday, from then on winds will swing to the south west as pressure starts to build from the south.

The week will end damp and drizzly in the west but increasingly sunny in sheltered areas from the south west winds. Temperatures reaching 13 to 14 c in the sunshine.

Looking further on, currently it looks like high pressure will become increasingly influential over our weather
