UK Look Ahead
06th January 2019
Mainly dry after a stormy spell in the north.
This week will maintain the predominantly dry spell with high pressure in charge.
The exception will be for the north as a deep area of low pressure sweeps in from the Atlantic on Monday bringing a spell of rain and severe gales.
As this moves away Monday night northerly winds will follow in it's wake bringing in wintry showers for the north and east and brighter colder conditions for the rest of the country.
From mid week until the weekend the north will join the rest of the country in a benign spell with some brightness bit also frosts at night
