Thanks for the heads up Lorrimor :)

One of the major factors in disrupting the positive Artic Oscillation in my opinion. probably not much to discuss until later in November but below is the current state @ 30hPa level which will update real time. Last year we experienced a large negative temperature anomaly over the pole at this level early in the season, which set the scene and ended up being impossible to disrupt, all the late winter warming's being centred over Asia and hence we ended up with a + NAO / AO for the majority. There are already murmurs in the weather community that this year is going to be Different!
