General Election 2017

Thought I would open up this thread as it is going to be a major topic over the next six weeks or so. Feel free to post news articles /tweets that you think that other members may find interesting as well as your thoughts or predictions.

Of course, everyone has different political views and we all need to respect these views and realise that they may not be the same as yours. Therefore whilst healthy sensible debate is acceptable personal attacks on other members based on their political affiliations is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

As for a prediction - I'm going for a Conservative victory with a 50-70 seat majority with the Lib Dems also picking up and additional 3-6 seats.
