High Pressure Back in Charge!
After an unsettled and windy spell high pressure will ridge north this week settling conditions down, maybe a sting in the tail next weekend.
Monday and Tuesday will see temperatures rise a little as cloud and moisture is fed into the UK from the Atlantic, not particularly wet but mainly cloudy with some pockets of drizzle around.
From Wednesday the Azores high drifts north, with a cool easterly breeze setting in, the best of the sunshine and warmer temperatures the further north west you are. By the weekend, it will feel particularly raw in the south east as winds strengthen, any showery activity that does form may turn wintry. Cold with sharp frosts elsewhere.
